C. crispa The selection we grow was collected in1990, by Mr. Logan Calhoun of Cedar Hill, Texas. The color varies from light blue to a purple blue with a white center. The bell shaped, 1" (2.5cm) wide by 1.5" (4cm) long blooms are produced sporadically from June to September. The tops usually die back to ground level each winter, then produce 6-8' (2-2.5m) of growth each year. Pruning group C. |
